Q: How relevant is caffeinated coffee consumption for someone whose hypertension is being controlled by 10mg of lisinopril?
A: Daily consumption of a moderate amount of caffeine per day (about two cups of coffee) is felt to be okay. At higher levels caffeine starts to have negative effects on the body. Some individuals are more sensitive than others. For more information see click here.
