Q: I am taking Micardis HCT for my BP and, every time about 30min after i take it, I feel faint, can’t breath and am too weak to stand. Is this normal?
A: Dizziness is a common side effect of Micardis HCT. Your symptoms sound troublesome so I would discuss them with your doctor. There are different angiotension II inhibitors and other medications available that may lower your blood pressure with fewer side effects.
