Q: Can Lotrel for high BP cause high cholesterol?
A: High blood pressure and high cholesterol, or blood fat levels, are two conditions that frequently are seen together. Both should be treated as each increases the risk of heart disease and stroke. The drug Lotrel is not known to cause high blood fat levels.
